On 13–14 June 2026, students from the MERC International School participated in an exciting Leadership Camp at Otternest. The programme was designed to help students discover and develop their leadership potential through a variety of hands-on challenges and outdoor activities.

Throughout the two-day camp, students took part in team-building games, squad formation, a 300-metre jungle night walk, morning physical training, a 6-kilometre jungle trek to Air Terjun GP1 waterfall, obstacle courses, river challenges, and sense-heightening activities. The camp concluded with a memorable campfire launching ceremony and live performances.

The experience encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, strengthen their teamwork and communication skills, build resilience, and form lasting friendships. We are proud of all participants for embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.

MERC International School would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the teachers and staff whose dedication, guidance, and support ensured the success of this camp. Their commitment helped create a safe, engaging, and rewarding learning experience for all involved.
